The M-lamps are made using a meticulous process that involves bending layers of plywood by hand. These layers are then polished and covered with walnut veneer and lacquer, resulting in a luxurious finish. The lamps are embedded with a hidden LED strip under an acrylic cover, creating a soothing white ambiance of light. The three different forms of the M-lamp tell a captivating story to its owner, adding a touch of intrigue to any room.

Measuring at 550mm in width, 200mm in depth, and 470mm in height, the M-lamp is a statement piece that commands attention. Its unique shape and warm lighting create a captivating visual experience that is sure to impress.

Leonova's journey in creating the M-lamp was not without its challenges. Finding a skilled woodworker who could bring her vision to life was a hurdle she had to overcome. After numerous prototypes and experiments, she finally found a carpentry shop in Almaty that agreed to produce the lamps.

The M-lamp made its debut in 2015 at the Salone Satellite Moscow exhibition and later showcased at the London Design Fair - Tent London in 2016. Its innovative design and exceptional craftsmanship have garnered recognition, earning it the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2018 in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category.
